PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ARE MORE LIKELY TO LIVE IN SOCIAL HOUSING
with the incidence of mobility problems expected to increase by more than half by 2035.
BY 2043, PEOPLE OVER 65 WILL MAKE UP ALMOST A QUARTER OF THE POPULATION
(17.5 million people), with those over 75 accounting for 13 per cent (9.4 million people) and over 85s 4 per cent (2.9 million).
AROUND FOUR MILLION HOMES IN ENGLAND ENDANGER THE HEALTH OF THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THEM
with more than half of these occupied by someone aged 55 or over.
